The historic Lowell neighborhood is located just north of downtown Fresno. The neighborhood which started back in 1884 is bounded by Divisadero Ave to the south, Blackstone Ave to the east, and Highway 180 to north. The neighborhood has seen a great deal of revitalization in the couple of years with commercial and residential projects just south, and the involvement of neighbors in local beautification projects.
With a diverse community, the Lowell neighborhood showcases homes that are great examples of early Fresno architecture including many great examples of the Victorian and Bungalow style. Homes in the area can range from 4,000 sq ft former mansions to 800 sq ft entry level homes.
